RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION: LICENSED
Residential Habilitation services are direct and indirect services provided to participants who live in licensed and unlicensed provider owned, rented, or leased residential settings. This service is built on the principle that every participant has the capacity to engage in lifelong learning. As such, through the provision of this service, participants will acquire, maintain, or improve skills necessary to live in the community, to live more independently, and to participate meaningfully in community life. To the extent that Residential Habilitation is provided in community settings outside of the residence, our settings is inclusive rather than segregated.
BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT
We provide Behavioral Support - a direct and indirect service that includes a comprehensive assessment; the development of strategies to support the participant based upon the assessment; and the provision of interventions and training to participants, staff, parents, and caregivers. Services must be required to meet the current needs of the participant, as documented and authorized in the service plan.
RESPITE
Respite Services are direct services that are provided to supervise and support participants living in private homes on a short-term basis for planned or emergency situations, giving the person(s) normally providing care a period of relief that may be scheduled or due to an emergency. Our Respite services do not cover the care provided to a minor child when the primary caregiver or legally responsible individual is absent due to work.

Abundant Services Provider LLC ASP

Abundant Services Provider LLC (ASP) is licensed under 55 PA Code Chapter 6400 to provide residential habilitation services. We provide person-centered consolidated waiver home and community-based services (HCBS) to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or Autism who have been determined programmatically to meet eligibility requirements. ASP was established to protect the health and welfare of waiver participants during service delivery, as well as sufficiently structured and prepared to provide quality waiver services. We are a strong promoter of the Everyday Life model that is deeply rooted in the concept of Self-Determination and Positive Approaches. The concept of Everyday Lives is not about disability. It applies to everyone, with or without a disability. The fundamental concept of Everyday Lives is that, with the support of family and friends, individuals with disabilities decide how to live their lives and what supports they need. It also means that they are responsible for their decisions and actions. One key measure that we use to determine the quality of our services is based on using our own feelings of whether the services are something we would expect ourselves. Would we want to live in this residential setting? Are the staff working with individuals, people you would welcome into your own home? This logic could be applied to most services, and you could ask yourself: “If this service was being provided to me or one of my family members, would I be satisfied with the quality of the service?
